Today I worked out twice and I feel completely spoiled. ┬áDays like today are few and far between, but when they happen, it is so wonderful. This morning it was drizzling out and chilly but my littlest and I wrapped ourselves up in rain gear and warm clothes, put the lid up on the joggy stroller and headed out. It definitely helped to have a new friend join us to help call for the ducks and entertain us. It was a fast run and it felt great to be back out there after a week of sickness. I love that about running, no matter what happens in life to take me away, I always miss it terribly and love going back. Pregnancies, sickness, travel, work – all of it has taken me away from running for long-ish periods of time, but I always come back. Running is a commitment I’ve made for my life, and I’m proud of that.

My second workout was with one of my longest friends, you know the ones that have known you almost as long as you’ve been alive. Those are good friends, if only because they put up with you that long. We took an hour-long yoga class at a local gym. I want to bring our teacher home with me for just general life help. She talks the entire time we are practicing and constantly reminds you of the things you forget about, like breathing in and out, and posture, and letting go of the day. It really was a great yoga practice. No shoulda coulda woulda left in me, just happy. I was meant for this, and yes – I’m spoiled.
